If there was a treat to describe the summer of 2023, it would be s’mores. So we figured–why not make a s’mores stuffed waffle. But be warned–this isn’t just any old s’more waffle. It’s filled with a generous scoop of nutella, marshmallows, and graham crackers, then finished off with a heavy drizzle of Nutella and graham cracker crumbs. What more could you want?
Tips & Tricks
- Make sure the waffle iron is hot enough before adding the batter. This will keep the waffle from sticking to the waffle grids.
- Although it may be hard, don’t add too much filling. You want to make sure there’s enough space for waffle batter on the top. (Plus, you’ll need some extra for serving!)
- Since this recipe uses butter rather than oil, the exterior of the waffle will be slightly softer. When removing the waffle from the waffle iron, you might want to use a spatula to support it while you transfer it to a plate so that the waffle doesn’t collapse.
- For extra deliciousness, top with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream.

Directions
Preheat The Stuffed Waffle Iron according to the instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine the egg, milk, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined, smooth, and no clumps remain.
Cut or break the marshmallows into small pieces. Break the graham cracker in half. Pour about 1⁄4 cup of waffle batter into the preheated waffle iron, then place one of the graham cracker halves in the center and top with marshmallow bits and 1 tablespoon nutella. Pour another 1⁄4 cup waffle batter over the filling so that it covers it completely.
- Close the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions. You’ll need to flip the waffle iron so that it cooks evenly on both sides, until nicely golden brown and puffed in the centers. Transfer the waffle to a plate. Repeat step 4 to make the remaining waffle.
- Serve the S’more Stuffed Waffles with additional nutella drizzled over top, and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
